Our politicians, police officers and parks department have failed us. What Mosswood Park has been allowed to become in the last 6 months is a disgrace. This issue has been reported numerous times with nothing more than an "acknowledgement" of the issue.
What do the citizens of Oakland have to do to get OUR government services to do their jobs? It's impossible to think that OPD, the Parks Dept. and our politicians aren't aware of this problem. I'm honestly curious. Is there something a citizen can do to encourage action by the departments that our tax dollars fund?
