I second this and would go much further. This corner is a stop for 4 different schools, has no sidewalk, and is dark. It has so much traffic from commuters from a nearby school and one construction zone.
I would love to see a light after years and years of neighbors lobbying for one but I’d also love a lighted crosswalk and one of this amazing speed cameras because I’ve seen Wallingford turn into a racetrack one too many times.

I would like to voice my support for this location as well. There are many kids walking to school and this bus stop through this intersection and there have been some very scary almost accidents at 150th and Wallingford between kids and cars. Stoplights, streetlights, sidewalks would all be extremely important for improving the safety of our kids. The new parkwood school is opening in September and almost all of the Parkwood students live within a mile of the school, so tons of walker students.

I agree with the above comments. I have lived near the intersection for over 15 years and I can’t count the time I have witnessed cars not stopping before proceeding through the intersection. It is also a bus stop for Shoreline SD elementary, middle, and high school students. The bus picks up at WAllingford and 150th which is the darkest side of the street especially for the middle and high school kids. When Parkwood construction is finished that corner will resume being a heavy foot traffic area for the students. I am all for making that a safer area for the students and would appreciate if the city took action to do so. Thanks!
