Description

On weekday mornings, there is a backup due to cars turning left onto Sheffield Avenue from westbound MacArthur Blvd. This backup makes drivers impatient and they speed around the stopped cars either in the bike lanes or, as was the case this morning, into the oncoming traffic lane. My 12-year old son was nearly run over as he was crossing MacArthur at Sheffield and a car on westbound MacArthur went into the oncoming traffic lane and ran the red light.
