THANK YOU. A resident brought this to my attention . After looking at it again, I think that the mulch used by the contractors on the newly planted trees washed down with rain, and was tracked around the area by people would walk across the grass. A city truck also went over the hill doing the same. (the drivers shouldnt drive trucks through that park side entrance off Manhattan Ave by the bocce court because its too narrow, and they hit the wall in the past doing this. (see pic) They track the glass onto the running track and erode soil. (see pic) The mulch is full of bottle glass because this "mulch" is really ground up garbage bags with garbage full of glass bottles. The city cannot use this in parks for obvious reasons. Now its washed down onto the track.

Parks crew were able to remove broken glass from track.
