Description
At the corner of Inglewood Hill Rd and NE 222nd Pl NE there is a crosswalk for pedestrians to cross Inglewood Hill Rd to get to the side walk on the South side of the street. Daily I turn right at this corner and there are kids walking to school who are trying to cross. No one can see them waiting and often I begin my right turn to block the roadway and wait for these kids to safely cross. However, I have had people try to go around me and almost hit the kids in the crosswalk. I have had cars heading East on Inglewood hill rd not stop for people in the crosswalk. This is a very dangerous crossing in the dark. Ideally, a crossing signal should be installed and more lighting added to the area. Let's not wait until a school child dies at this location to act.

Might be a good idea to have this area patrolled too.
But anything would be an improvement. It's a very dark corner. Thank you for looking into this. Demery Hill is close enough to the H.S. and Middle school that there are plenty of walkers.
