Description
I frequently take I5 via Jeffery Rd (from Alton Rd) and noticed on multiple occasions that signal on "The Meadows" just after railroad underpass activates even when there's no cross traffic/pedestrian. Jeffery is a major road with fast traffic - The Meadows signal needs to be moderated to be less frequent and definitely should not trigger without any reason.

Thank you for taking the time to express your concern regarding the traffic signal light on Jeffrey at The Meadows. The City appreciates your input in helping us improve safety in our community. In response to your request, we promptly checked the signal operations and monitored the detections for several days and found that they are working properly.
In order to assist us, we would appreciate receiving any additional information you might be able to provide regarding the dates and time of your commuting experiences. This information will assist us in reviewing the signal operation in more detail to determine appropriate adjustment that may be necessary to improve traffic flow.
Moving forward, we will continue to monitor the intersection to assure that the detections are working properly.
