Deskripsyon
I would like to see if it's possible to have a painted crosswalk and pedestrian signal at the intersection of Western and Tudor/Magazine. My husband and I last year witnessed a pedestrian (who was legally crossing) hit by a car that sped away. Friday night we were within inches of being run over by an aggressive driver who didn't understand the pedestrian right of way. A painted crosswalk and signs would help. The issue is usually motorists turning left off of Magazine onto Western.
Several of my neighbors also have difficulty crossing on foot at this light as well. I appreciate your consideration of this matter.
Thank you,
Valerie MacMillan

Just wanted to note that it's been nearly a month and a half since this was assigned and it has yet to be acknowledged. Every single day I see people scurry across this intersection trying desperately not to be hit by cars. Every single day I see people run this red light. It is a dangerous intersection and I strongly feel like better labeling would avoid the many accidents and near accidents that occur here.
I appreciate that we have this forum to express our concerns. But while we're seeing DGS complete an extraordinary number of tasks, almost all of the traffic concerns of the Eagle Hill Neighborhood are being ignored. I realize these are more complex issues than code violations and tree trimming, but it would be appreciated if an effort was made to work with the community to solve these very important traffic problems. The safety, well-being and livability of our community depend on it.
