At 11:30am on 01/20/19 a crew was dispatched out to the address mentioned. Crew drop up and down Maloney Ave East and West and there was no water leak detected.
The City responded to the line break on Sunday. There was also a gas leak, which had to be attended to prior to the City crew working on the waterline. New Mexico Gas Company responded from Farmington, which added an additional four hours to this repair - this is outside of the City's control. The water service was restored on Sunday night. There was a small leak on the repair discovered Monday morning. The Water Department informed businesses of this and the need for another outage, which was scheduled after business hours, as we are making every effort to work with businesses on issues like this. Water service is now back up.

"The water pipe is broken again downtown. Maybe it's time to replace the line."
The Capital Improvement Projects process is open to the public. You are welcome to attend any meeting or public hearing and state this. The Water Department is working with other City Departments to move this forward.
