The Highway Superintendent will be out today to look at the issue. The driveways for this property were not constructed with a rise to create a berm with the roadway and pitch down to the property. We may have to create a berm along the front of the property as there is no drainage on the street.

as of today, the sand bags have worked but mostly ripped over and now stuck to the ground. Temporary resolution to an ungoing issue :* .. spring can come fast enough

This mornig all the water was at the end of my driveway as SHEET OF ICE
its only on my side of the street. PLEASE CONSIDER PUTTING IN A DRAIN ON THE STREET

next door broke land and is getting ready to start buidling the new town house

The Town will be putting a new asphalt berm in across the property once spring breaks. this will stop the water in the roadway, but any water from your driveway and your neighbor's driveway will continue to pitch to the corner of your property. The road was constructed about 100 years ago and drainage and sidewalks were not required as there is general pitch in the road and there are a limited number of homes. Drainage and sidewalks could be extended through a betterment program, if requested. We will let you know when we are going to be doing the berm work.

Mark is the plan for Oakhurst Street? Paving? Sidewalks? Better yet a Drain?
