It's unrealistic to have the entire block remove all of its trees or rake each but every leaf. However, no matter how light the rain is, this intersection floods. I understand Upper Darby sends one person a week to clean out the grates...maybe it needs more frequent cleaning during rainy weeks. The residents on Owen Ave often have to come out in the rain themselves to clear the grates. I do notice that on the Lansdowne side, the sewer grates are ALWAYS clean of leaves and debris and the flooding on that side is kept to a minimum.
