Description

This is a shortcut to Big Y Market used by many residents of Wollaston who choose to walk rather than take a car to shop. This includes the senior and disabled residents of Fenno House. Every time there is inclement weather this area -- be it snow, sleet or heavy rain -- invariably is ignored or barely acknowledged until a citizen steps up to say something. So I'm saying something. I wish the City of Quincy, KimCo Realty property management for North Quincy shopping plaza and all of the abutters of this alley would just do the right thing and make this area safe for all neighbors but especially for the seniors. The property has serious drainage problems which will be evident once again when we get a heavy downpour of rain and this ice rink is turned into a small lake. Please find a permanent solution. Thank you.
