Is there anyone out there who shares this concern? Has the Police Dept looked at this...because...This is still a problem...please North Branford Police post a sign..."No passing on the right." Once again last week I almost got clipped because cars driving too fast and don't wait for the car to turn but past on the right on the shoulder of the road. On top of it, they don't even slow down while doing it....here is original post:
Because I live on a road off Rte 22 in Northford, I have to slow/stop to turn onto Gr. Oak Rd. from Rte 22. Drivers behind continue to pass on the right and sometimes barely miss my car. A sign needs to be posted to remind drivers "no passing on right." I have already experienced a car accident in this spot when someone driving too fast drove into the rear of my car and I was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
