Zoning-Warren assigned this issue to Engineering - Drew B

Addresses 271 and 273 Neptune Avenue have been added to our striping list to receive new driveway markings in the roadway.

Additionally, if a vehicle is illegally parked in the space between the driveways please call Parking Enforcement at 201-547-5538 so that an enforcement officer can be dispatched to the location and issue a violation, if warranted.

Hi, I saw this while at the car wash (see attached picture). Can tis be done between our 2 driveways to prevent people from parking there ? Thanks.

Unfortunately, the delineation posts at the driveways are not a viable option. They become targets of vandalism and are broken shortly after install. Thus making them extremely difficult to maintain. We have reduced their use to keeping intersections clear of parked cars to improve sight lines for pedestrians in crosswalks.

I believe the striping of the roadway that will be installed will provide a great amount of delineation. We proposed that the two stripes at the center of the driveways be angled to touch one another making it clear that this is not a parking area.

OK, so I called the zoning folks, paid my money and awaiting the painting. Will they paint the extra line, as showed in the picture above in this post, added by Drew, to deter folks from parking between the driveways ?
