Property in question is a church that was converted to apartments.
Public records show that the address is really 1112-20 LOMBARD ST and is identified as “APTS 5-50 UNTS MASONRY”. Owner is “CORPWASHINGTON MEWS APTS” C/O Ed Barrett.
We, the townhouses West of 1112-20 LOMBARD ST are continually having problems with this building. First they have stored their trash containers, which are emptied by a private waste removal Co., in an area shared by both our townhouses & that Apartment building.
I’ve opened Issues in the past concerning this with no results.
This issue is different. They are empting vacated apartments and putting the trash out in front of our townhouses for City sanitation to pick up.
They should be getting their private waste removal company to pick up this trash which should have been place in front of their apartment house.
This is at ongoing problem!

ED has also dumped a number of large cement logs in the emergency exit of the homes 1124-1130 Lombard and broke the lock off the gate which secures the emergency exit.
His tenants smoke cigarettes which they littler the alley which clogs the drains; instead of throwing the cigarette butts in the trash can.

I have video of him dumping trash on at least 5 different occasions and will show it to the police mini station on South Street later today.

Ed Barrett came by my house the other day as well as my neighbor's homes to tell us he built our houses in the 60s along with that church. He goes between this area and D.C. I wish I had his contact info for you

I noticed those (what look to be reinforced concrete Lintels) when I was showing Verizon Repair our Fire Egress. Also noticed to missing lock.

Really don't want to deal with the guy. Had a run in with him awhile back when our sewage was backing up into the townhouses. He saw me and a plumber at the sewer vent and said that only serviced his apartments. I told him he was wrong and that serviced the 12 townhouses to which he blew up. Don't care if he built both the renovated the church & townhouses. He no longer owns the townhouses property. And although he may own the common are between the two, there are access and Service right-of-ways that prohibit him from doing anything he wants with it.

I agree, I dont think talking to him will resolve anything. He is Bi-Polar crazy person.
He thinks he owns everything and could do what ever he wants. I'll keep you posted on what the police say when I stop by later today.

I wanted to re-circle on this issue since Ed is causing problems again. I recently got a letter from him in my mail box (I suspect that a lot of people got it from him) saying that he owns the alleys and that there is no Trespassing. I live in the houses from 1124 - 1134 we do not have any condo association, however I think we need to get together from both sides of the apartment complex and finally understand who owns what etc...as we are having trouble with people having sex in the emergency stair case, trash in the emergency stair case, vans parking in the alley and overflowing trash dumpsters.
