Description
There is never a parking enforcement agent in this area that has either paid or 2 hour parking. I have seen an entire block of unpaid meters with a group walking away not paying because someone pointed out the entire block was not enforced. The 2 hour limits are worst as cars never move because they don't get ticketed. This is ridiculous.

Here is what I got from the Dept of Parking Enforcement.
"We understand your problems with parking in the area. Coming this summer we expect to have vehicles equipped with automatic license plate readers to aid in enforcement. These vehicles should make it easier to do more effective enforcement in the areas with 2 hour zones. In the meantime, feel free to call our enforcement number at 510-238-3099 for help. We have staff answering calls to that number Monday through Friday, 9-5 CALL AND CALL OFTEN
