Sharraxaadda

The steel plate covering an excavation on the North side of the intersection of St Emmanuel and McKinney slid to the side, opening up the hole in the pavement. This is a hazard to public safety and could cause a driver to lose control if one of their wheels drove into the hole.

This is a repeat issue that needs a better solution than just sliding the plate back in place. Asphalt should be spread around the edges to prevent recurrence. Especially since there is so much heavy equipment driving on St Emmanuel during road construction.
