The improvement project on B St was done in the early 2000's, the process included coordination with residents/city agencies and it was agreed upon that parking would be allowed on both sides with a narrow through lane.

Parking removal/requests would need to be vetted/proposed through the residents and at this time staff has not heard that parking removal on B St is something they are interested in pursuing.

There wouldn't be any place to park cars on B St. A long time ago (1930s) people would park above their houses using an access lane, this is long gone. Soon I think we will need parking by permit only as many cars are being parked on B by people who do not live on B.

I totally agree, we have cars continually “ long-term” parking on B and residents can’t even park near their own homes, additionally we have noticed that people use trash cans to save parking spaces etc. it’s crazy just to unload groceries or your kids in front of your house. The areas with rentals are even worse with a fourplex, two cars per apartment. When these homes were built the were typically single family, now it’s how many people can you cram into one building to make money. The property management companies in this area are basically slumlords. I see derelict properties, buildings without heat, broken windows and code enforcement does nothing to hold the owners / managers responsible. Tenants have rights and property owners also shouldn’t have to suffer this neglect or clogged streets.
