I believe it's the City's responsibility to make sure Duke corrects this issue, is it not? I posted the concrete electrical pole in front of the dental office was hit by a car and concrete debris and the bottom half of the pole was just left. The city said they forwarded the issue to Duke and it was their responsibility to take care of. It has been almost THREE months and the bottom half of the concrete electrical pole is still there. Does Duke govern themselves? Who follows through with Duke to make sure they are taking care of these issues. Who holds Duke accountable? The issue of the manhole noise was addressed before and Duke never did anything about it. This negligence on their end caused the manhole cover to keep popping out and put those passing through the intersection in risk of a major accident. Officers were called to guard and redirect traffic multiple times. I am not trying to be rude here as I know you all work hard to keep our city beautiful and running the way it should. I think it would be appropriate to close this case once the issue has been fixed. This issue with the man hole cover I'm sure has exceeded eight months and still no correction.
