Description
Bissonette properties management office has been informed that their rain gutter is iced over and causing a permanent large ice floe in front of their building. They have been informed several times over several weeks that children and elderly have fallen here and continue to. They have not remedied the dangerous ice caused by their property. Today I was told “ we salted” and “ it’s icy everywhere”. Please help them to do the right thing and fix this issue born of negligence.

Hi Meg,
This is something we have been actively trying to work on, however we have had several leaks and no heat calls in units that take precedence over the gutter. Your constant harassment of the staff in the office, as well as trying to record us in the office, has caused some fear among our staff so we kindly ask that you do not visit our office again. Our maintenance team has been asked to fixed the gutters now that the more pressing matters have been taken care of, and pictures will be posted once completed, and with the warmer weather and constant salting we expect the ice to be cleared shortly.

Dear Cara,
Your comment about recording you is libelous. As stated I was in the phone with my partner when I saw a woman slipped and so went in to inform you again that this is a dangerous situation of bissonette property’s making. I was not recording even though your staff acted incredibly rude and paranoid about me being on the phone. Retract your greasy lie, please.
Is your excuse literally that for the last four weeks you have not had the capacity to make sure tenants heat is functional, plumbing works, and maintain safe sidewalks?! Hmmm. That’s not what I’ve been experiencing. Nice spin though lol.
Take care,
Friendly neighborhood Mama Meg

Hi Meg,
I apologize the safety of our tenants not having heat, or having leaks in their units takes precedence over the sidewalk. I did have a work order in after your original visit, however I weighed work orders accordingly and put it on hold to handle more pressing matters. I am not the person you spoke with that day, and actually sit in the front section of the office, and your interactions with our staff I will say have been rather unpleasant, with swearing and rude statements made, especially to a tenant who was signing their lease. We did make a very clear effort to clear the sidewalk today, which was planned before this seeclickfix report even emerged.
I would love to have a conversation with you about this if you feel it may help in the betterment of the Old North End. You can feel free to call the office during business hours and ask for me. We do want to see the Old North End become the community it deserves to be.

Let’s converse publicly. You continue to misrepresent my demeanor and actions in a harmful way. I am literally the mom that lives nearby and works at the school and looks out for my neighbors and this neighborhood. You are maligning me for your own escalatory, accusing tone and it feels like a load of..baloney, frankly.
You saying you “do want to see this neighborhood become the community it deserves to be” seems insincere, among other things 😂
You are doubling down on attempting to manipulate my persistent concern for our kids into me harassing you, with the class overtones of accusing me of swearing and being “rude” no less. I would hazard it’s because you fundamentally don’t identify with the people slipping on the ice right outside where you sit.... and maybe you think i don’t have a right to let you know this is dangerous. The spin is so slick feeling, too obvious. I’m known here.

Hi 802,
I bet! It’s not an either or. This ice has been build ing there for a month! I talked to the several weeks ago the first time out of the 3 times I stopped in with my concerns. Not that you can miss it. They can see folks fall and slip right through their windows. The crossing guard there and I chatting about the ice is what led me to actually go ask them to take care of it. But they didn’t. Then we had the big storm. Then all the other areas were clear except their one big thick cake of ice stretching all the way across and down the sidewalk. Days went by. I stopped in again on my way back to work from lunch while chatting with my sweetie on the phone. Days went by. I stopped in again. They were dismissive so I tried this app. I’m glad it is fixed as well and no one was hurt badly.
You should have heat AND they should maintain the gutter and sidewalk where they work every day.
