i fully agree ! thitly and ince it was installed over 40 years ago there have been bicycle accidents resulting in deaths too!! The street is bombarded with trucks constantly by a construction company operating illegaly on residentially zoned property as well. I have visited the town zoning depat who did nothing. hmmmmmmmm???? Saybrook rd is in the towns pocket for sure !

The road is not that bad !!! HA ! Give me a break. My wife broke her struts this summer and we have witnessed at least 4 bicycle accidents in over 3 years. There is something up with Saybrook Rd as there are numerous shady "construction" business' operating out here which are all zoned improperly. Take a look at a zoning map and you will see. I dare you. They will never pave it...just patch it. Fools.

I love watching the town drive their pickup truck with asphalt down saybrook rd and patch the huge cracks and potholes. Its comical !!!! I have watched this for 10 years. That road is going to kill someone soon and of course that is what they are waiting for............ Now Downtown got a nice pave job didnt it !

Unfortunately, when you pave it you will get the speeders. Keeping it bumpy keeps the speed down.

Now thats logic.......Are you kidding me....... Then put a traffic light up... Thats like saying "dont wash your hands.They'll just get dirty anyway" ..... Maybe if we lived in the world of Deliverance.....But we live in a CITY of 60,000......understand?
