Description

Our tree in the center of the cul-de-sac was removed years ago. How do we get a new one?

And over the last few months, city crews have destroyed what little grass we had in the island through water main repair and scalping the island with the snow plows.

We’re now looking at a mud pit instead of a lovely crabapple and grass-covered island.

Yes both Wilton ct and Brierwood ct have trees on median island. Heck Wilton ct has a bench at base of a Swamp white oak on their common island. First part of the process for reestablishing island would be for Water dept to renew with soil instead of sand and grade. Request will be forwarded to H20 division to see if it was indeed Water division that left island in its current state.

I apologize that we have not updated the status of this ticket. We had a water main break in this location over the winter which caused damage to the grass in the center island. We will repair the damaged turf and then plant a tree. The wet spring has delayed our timing but we do plan to do the work this spring.
