I live in Highland Park, a new Daybreak community on the west side of Mountain View. We generally use Lake Avenue for east and west travel across Mountain View. On several occasions and specifically tonight, the light doesn't change giving east and west traffic legal access to cross Mountain View. We sat through 3 lights during which time one car chose to make a right hand turn (not authorized) on to the north bound Mountain View and another chose to go on through the red light to advance to the next set of lights for turning south on Mountain View. Once we (and at least two others) got a green light to travel west, the light changed before we could proceed through the south bound portion of Mountain View.
As I mentioned at the beginning, this incident tonight was not a isolated occurrence. Could the light sensors be adjusted to alleviate this annoyance?
