Additional photo with extension cord tapped into utility box.
This area had 6 or so other RV’s and detached camping trailers, all parked in restricted parking.
I saw that RV parked in the vacant lot behind AMPM a week ago(no trespassing signs posted).
At the time I did not report here on SeeClickFix as I normally would. Woman walking her dog, I thought I would give them a break. But this has gone too far. Parking against traffic and stealing electricity, time for them to go!
I think i would call 911 because this can cause a fire or worse and PGE this is theft of utilities at least!! But what if they short it out and cause a fire!!
Maybe somebody else will call 911, I don’t see it getting us anything. It’s hard to believe that one patrol car has not passed by it..... besides it’s probably moved on by now.
Besides, at this point see click fix is basically just documenting this type of issue, perhaps someday someone at City Hall will utilize this data as reference to what areas are “trouble spots”.
I’m just going to tag this on to the existing issue. Even though the RV is gone here is a photo of the utility box they tapped into. The lock mechanism has been sheared off the box.
And additional question which I have posted on another issue is, what happened to the camera Rae that was on that corner to monitor illegal dumping? All of the cameras have been removed, but the sign saying video monitoring still remains.
