Description

Someone blocked off access to the Mill River Trail with a nut and bolt. Why was this done? Can it be open? We put a lot of effort into making this trail with approval from the state and city this summer

The parks department did not lock this. Not sure who did, might be the state? I’ll look into it on Monday

Thanks Parks Maintenance. This is the only safe ped passage to District from State Street as no crosswalks were put at the off ramp.

Check with the state DOT they looked a bunch of those fences to keep homeless people out

Welp,
There were still folks squatting by the river and leaving suitcases and garbage as of Saturday so all it solved was blocking pedestrians from crossing.
