This parking issue, as well as all the other parking issues in this block, as well as countless others have not been addressed because the city says my neighborhood is "too old". Zoning says the current parking regulations were adopted in 2005 and don't apply to neighborhoods older than that. What a classy policy, Albuquerque! This means that 98% of Albuquerque (older that 2005) is not subject to the residential parking ordinances you signed when you bought your house????? So when your neighbors start parking junk cars all over the place, ruining your property value, you have no course of action.
This city is useless and I will be renting my house out and leaving in due time. So the problems the city WON'T clean up......they simply encourage more of by driving decent folks out.....to be replaced by???? When I live n another city or likely another state entirely, I will only care about my rent check coming in. This city seems to be content with driving out decent folks by encouraging all of the second rate behavior so prevalent here and that so many people complain about. But nobody has the common sense to fix anything the right way, only try stupid ideas that make things worse (or do nothing at all towards improvement). Anyway, I will continue to post here with follow ups for as long as I am here and as long as I am ignored, because despite my cynicism, I actually do still care to some extent for the time I am still here.
I am confused as to why SeeClickFix indiscriminately "closes" some issues prematurely without resolution, but leaves others, like this one, up indefinitely.
In any case, I don't blame SeeClickFix, as I know they are a third party service. But Albuquerque is wasting everyone's time with this forum. To anyone reading this ....investing a single iota of your life in this ghetto that will never change is a waste of your time and money. Get out before it's too late. The time is getting closer for me.
