Description

6TH Post 02*15*2019 / Same guy as last week / Bin dweller beat goes on.

5TH post 02*01*2019 / This would be bin dweller #2 same day. Called DPW at 912 my point of contact is not in. The cardboard that was on my neighbors barrel was tossed on to the snow pile. Funny feeling the Recycle guy's not going to picking cardboard from a snow pile. See below audit trail. I will continue to post until we have resolve. Thank you again DPW, why it is you're handling issues of legal matters I'm not quite sure. I thought that was CPD job? Talk to you in 2 weeks.

4TH post on this subject (now 8 months old) that I'm told by the Chicopee Police is "ILLEAGAL IN THE CITY OF CHICOPEE". Not 1 but 2 Bin Dwellers today. The first one is blocking my driveway. I asked him to move so I can get out he tells me to "Hold On" ?? Called the DPW at 812 am. As always the Interaction with the DPW is great. I will continue to post these. Looking forward to the results.

Third Time I'm posting about this subject and the problem still exists. The story below is from my last 2 post. I want to keep this audit trail open until this problem is fixed. I called the DPW today 01/18/2019, thank you for following up, look forward to the reply. Almost 1 year into this. The people breaking this city law need to be issued an official fine by the CPD. Thank you again

No results from the city after 7 months. Last post said "the DPW would follow up" well Today 12/07/2018 your guy was picking up recycling on my street (715am) at the same time the bin dweller was Illegally removing Items / I've stopped calling the police because they don't respond, I know that for a fact. ////// Illegal removal of items from curbside recycling bins once put out for collection . I was told by the Chicopee Police that this was illegal and to call. I’ve been calling for over 6 months and have had no results. I had a situation where I was threatened by a man as I attempted to put items in my bin curbside, I politely asked him to move on because what he was doing is illegal. 99% of the people have no idea about this law, I do and I want it enforced when I call. Most times I call the officer answering the phone has no idea this law exist and proceeds to question my request when In fact it was his own colleagues that informed me of the law. The shopping carriage they’re using to carry these items that are illegally remove is most likely stolen property as well.
