Description
422 has too low of a speed limit other 2 lane roads in the state have a 65 MPH speed limit. It's time to increase the speed limit to 65 on this road and enact a min. speed limit of 50 MPH. By doing this and weeding out the slower traffic that everyone else has to go around there will be less accidents.

agree completely. raise the speed limit it'll save lives and increase mileage since all new cars are made to perform optimally at 65!!!!
if people are speeding that is an indication the speed limit is to be RAISED not lowered! By law it should be set at the 80 percentile!

55 on 422 means more money in tickets, has NOTHING to do with safey. This is a great article about the subject.

The most traveled times are the slowest. So, increasing to 65 is not going to make an appreciable difference. I'm okay with the increase; but all that will really do is allow the few who stay within the limit to move 10MPH faster. Those doing 75-80 will still be moving the same rate and will have just as little control.
