Per usual, now two months later and no further action. There appears to be a larger issue with general street surface deterioration indicated by extensive orange markings. Seems there will eventually be work done all at once. Plan to contact Roads & Drainage again to see if this is on their docket. Stay tuned.
For anyone wishing to ride herd on this, I have learned from R&D that their asphalt department is scheduled to work on it. Contact Michael Anderson at 404-297-3833 and refer to Project #9476492. I am currently awaiting his call back with the date work will commence.
SCF, you're of no use to me with these reminders. Certainly the county is aware that the underlying pothole hasn't been dealt with, but they're doing nothing ever since they put the steel plate over it in July 2013.
Is there anything more you can do, because this ain't working like it should.
Well, Gollleee, what do you know? Dekalb County Roads & Drainage FINALLY re-paved it! Now, let's do the math: First reported to SCF May 27, 2013................................repaired June 1, 2016. THREE FREAKIN' YEARS! Just pitiful.
