As of Sunday a group of homeless humanoids has taken over the covered area and benches close to it
There is now a pile of debris on a bench bicycles and stolen shopping carts 🛒
Please move them along the area is being trashed since they have no sense of personal responsibility towards the environment around them
You never know maybe a hard working tax paying resident from our community might want to utilize the picnic tables, covered structure, BBQ, etc.
God forbid maybe someone will want to bring their children to enjoy this park or hike here.
While I appreciate them being moved along AGAIN I wonder if there’s a better solution. I drove by there a few minutes ago, on the way home from picking up my kids from school, hoping to stop by the park for a quick walk with my kids. Unfortunately I saw shopping carts and strollers and no sign of them having been moved on. Maybe they are on their way out, but it’s really become frustrating for us to try and find the 5 minutes when no homeless are in the park. Maybe a security guard of sorts can be posted during park hours? My kids and I really enjoy going to this park and are missing it quite badly. There really isn’t a day we drive by where we can see shopping carts and tents though, so we don’t even bother going. :(
Went by Friday after school. Trash everywhere, including a shopping cart almost in the river, right near the entrance, empty pizza box and ice cream container along with alcohol containers. Several people there just waiting to set up camp. I have pics of the trash but it doesn’t look like I can submit in the comments.

Thank you for your efforts to return this park to a safe environment for the public to take their children and pets. However, they will more than likely be back in a matter of days. Please keep them out and follow up the encampments along the trail and by the water tower.
