WHY ARE OUR STREETS ONLY BEING PATCED? WE CAN REPORT POTHOLES 24- 7.
Patching and repatching and repatching and repatching won't solve our issues.
WHY CAN'T WE GET A RESPONSE ON WHY WE DON'T DESERVE GOOD ROADS? AND WHY WE DON't HAVE ANYONE IN OUR CITY/COUNTY GOVERMENT WILLING TO FIGHT FOR DECATUR RESIDENTS?
WHY DON'T YOU REPLY? IGNORING AN ISSUE DOESN'T MAKE IT GO WAY. NOR DOES PUTTING A BANDAID ON SOMETHING BROKEN FIX IT.
Please reply.
The potholes are growing, when will our streets get repaved? With the amount of thru-traffic on Drexel and the amount of traffic on Melrose (people think it’s a thru street and then use Devionshire to cut over to Drexel, hence all the potholes) you would think this would be a priority.
Please advise
I AGREE !!! we live on Adair St and I see semi's and othe very large trucks driving through to deliver construction material and restaurant supplies.
Our street is a little over 3 tenths of a mile and we several steal plates an so many sinking potholes. It's like driving on a railroad track.
We deserve better streets.
I see Northern Ave was resurfaced after expensive condos were built, and it was 100% better than Adair St and the streets you have mentioned.
Will someone from the city and or county please reply to these concerns? As you do for lesser complaints/concerns?
I want everyone in the community to keep ane an eye out for a response here. It seems these issues keep getting ignored, and never receive a reply.
This area was repaired about a year ago, but it does not appear it was done properly. I agree Melrose and some of the cross streets are in serious need of re-paving.
It's been 2 months since the last comment, just wanted to see if the city plans to make any effort to repair these ever expanding potholes on a very heavily traveled area.
I apologize for the delay in this issue being responded to and I will have our Engineering Division address the potholes and evaluate the overall street condition.
Looks like the city patched the spots. Same thing they chose to do about a year ago instead re-grading the area. Better than nothing, but we most likely be talking about this again in around six months.
