This tree is dying. Before it falls on someone and city is liable as on city property should be taken out. Whoever says it is ok needs to look again

5455409 is not a duplicate. In the comments above the CSR recommended opening a Codes case for Property Maintenance. That is the purpose of 5455409.

Thank you for the follow-up information - further investigation shows that the tree in question appears to be adjacent to a city water lift station in the median where Leeland St S intersects 60th Ave S (see attached photo) - we will forward this report to Water Resources for follow-up discussion of the best resolution for the tree at that location. Update: the Parks Department's Forestry team is going to inspect the reported tree and will post their findings here, thank you.

Someone (maybe P&R) trimmed the tree about a month ago, and since then the remaining green stalks have died. The tree is clearly dead now. Please ask Water Resources / P&R to replace the dead tree. Thanks.

Our Parks & Recreation Department applied fertilizer in attempt to revitalize this Royal Palm, however our efforts failed. This palm is scheduled for removal, 04/28/19. WRO

UPDATE: This project is currently listed for assessment by our contract landscape company to see the viability of placing another palm in this location. A call was placed this afternoon to get a further update. An updated response will be provided as soon as information is available.

Hello, can you please advise on the status of this issue? There have been several city trucks and others on the property this past week, but no action was taken to replace the tree. Thank you.

The tree contractor has been contacted. The proposal is going through the approval process for planting a new appropriate tree in this location. I should be getting back to you with good news very soon. Thank you for your patience.
