This is such a horrible intersection for accidents and sooo preventable. I don't know why nothing has been done before now to correct the situation. I'm am baffled why something that can be fixed so simply hasn't been fixed??? Curious as to how many accidents have happened here? ALOT!!

I have been in a minor accident (was tapped from behind) at this intersection so I know how dangerous it can be.

I agree with Ridley Resident. I have lived right around the corner for four years and have only seen 2 accidents. I do agree it can be dangerous, but if you know how to drive it is not. You just have to be cautious when making that turn. If they were going to make it left turn on green only the would have to make the left hand turn signal longer, and extend the turning lane back towards the houses. This may prevent those homeowners from entering their houses. Congestion would also increase on the wait.

I only commute through there and have seen more than 2 accidents, so I'm not sure about that one comment. Anyway, there is a two-fold problem - 1) it's on a hill, which affects visibility when making the left turn in both directions, and 2) the morons that pull halfway out into the intersection, or more, and even further block the view of oncoming traffic. STAY BACK behind the line and wait until it's clear!
