The entire section of Marietta Blvd NW from Donald Lee Hollowell to West Marietta street needs some attention. Cars are swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid the ample potholes.
It needs paving and not patching. I saw them the other day spot patching. It is a very dangerous stretch of road. all lanes are filled with holes, especially when it rains. we should not wait until there is a sink hole or a major accident for something to be done. DO NOT PATCH, PLEASE PAVE THE ROAD.
I wholeheartedly agree. I drive this road twice a day. That stretch of road is full of potholes. Some are so large that I have no choice but to cross into the other lane. It needs to be repaved.
We are reaching out to the Public Works Department to advise of this ongoing issue. Repaving the entire road will take more work and time, however, we will forward this issue to them and be sure to relay any information provided regarding how this will be addressed.
they patched the road and all of the rain has washed it away. PLEASE PAVE THIS STRETCH OF ROAD. I now travel down Rice Street and then get back on Marietta Blvd.
There is a drain on the Northbound lanes that has completely collapsed. A giant hole is forming along the right lane where the ground under the road has eroded
Marietta St and W. Marietta st. Need to be repaved. There are more and more potholes showing up on W. Marietta st. In front of King Plow and West Mor Apts. All of the construction trucks are tearing the roads up.
There is no address there however it is on the opposite side of the street, across from the Dykes recycling location on Marietta blvd, not be confused with 1350 W Marrietta St.
Brian, we just escalated the most recently opened request for this pothole repair per service request #1145801470. For the drain repair, the request was closed advising there was no issue found and contact information may be needed for further details to ensure it is addressed accordingly. Thanks!
Marietta Blvd to Donald Lee Hollowell is dangerous. there are no lines in the street and over a dozen pot holes. you are literally swerving from one lane to another to avoid running into the holes. it is damaging to your car (alignment) not to mention oncoming traffic. please PAVE not PATCH
On August 2nd, I registered complaint 1151552702 regarding the dangerous condition of the road on Marietta Boulevard between Marietta Street and the Fulton County maintenance facility, also known as Bellwood. I just checked the status of the ticket and see that it was closed out on August 6 with no action and no email update sent to me!! Why is nothing being done?
Good evening, request #1151552702 was closed advising there was work done in the area. We will resubmit this issue for repair per service request #1152331274.
