Description
I recently purchased a Jeff Benton home at River Park at this address. I have 1 10 ft easement on one property side and a 15 ft easement along the back and other property sideline. The lot topography drops down toward the HOA common area about 8 ft. I would like to bring in dirt and install a retaining wall to extend and flatten the lot out toward the property line as far as I can. My question is what can be constructed in the easement spaces? Retaining wall? Landscaping? Fencing? I am getting conflicting answers from neighbors, HOA, the builder and the landscapers, so I thought best to check with the actual authority. Mr. Shine, River Park has an approved grading plan and any proposed deviation from that plan will require a grading permit. Please contact City Engineering at 256-427-5300.
