L.T. Your complaints and observations are correct. There is bias enforcement of City Charter and Zoning Regulations. No necessarily by neighborhood but due to who knows who and who thinks the rules don't apply to them and who 's their "friends" in city govmt. All's I can say is keep at reporting and documenting the bias enforcements...as have I for some time now. These biases are unethical to say the least...I suggest you get on to your City Council member to kickstart your legitimate complaints. There should be big orange violation warnings on all of these vehicles which will clearly state the violation and the fines @ $100 a day for ignoring the warning. Keep on keeping on...

P.S. Zoning doesn't proactively enforce theses violations...they'll drive right by, unless you put it in writing through click fix. Good luck.

Nothing in the municipal code references an "unapproved surface"

Zoning Official 2, if you can't cite the section as requested, then your are doing the public a disservice.

Citizen Bpt. You may need to call zoning to get that info. My understanding is that a permit for temp parking on "unapproved surfaces" ..."turf" is required and only allowed for special events. Over the curb parking on "turf" falls under the category of "attaching to...or damaging, removing" CIty Property. But, that would be confirmed by Zoning and/or your City Councilperson who should be helping to address the illegal parking in your areas of concern. Always submit anything in writing to the City or specific Departments to Document the issue. If you get, no response as is sometimes the case, you have a documentation of the lack of response which you can then apply your complaint to a higher level of governance. Good luck and be prepared for it to get tedious...wearing down your resistance is pert of the corrupt strategy employed often in Bias Enforcement of City Charter and Regulations...

Respectfully, I have called out zoning on this issue. Zoning has responded 6 times on this issue. That is ample opportunity to cite the violation, if one existed. Post the regulation. This is a private residence and a single vehicle on private property, not a block party or a public park.
