Signage or maybe fencing should be ordered. Trash tends to build up, and people have wandered out into traffic causing a safety hazard.

Please clean this up immediately! We cannot allow the illegal dumping to accumulate like it has on the other side of the tunnel.

The encampments are filthy, out of control and need to be remedied! The approach from Oakland into Alameda is reprehensible and cannot be allowed to fester on this side of the tunnel.
If I threw garbage out of my car window I would be cited for littering - why are we not all held to the same standards?
+ we pay far too many taxes for nothing to be done about this blight!

Seeing these encampments on my everyday ride to work is the worst part of my day. Why are they still here? Clear them out before it gets bigger. Nip it at the bud!

folks the only way anything will ever change is if we all march down to city hall and demand that they stop ignoring our complaints. this has gone on long enough. all of us need to unite and fight this problem together. we need to stand up to our corrupt police department and city government and drain the swamp!

reopening this issue because "assigned to hlos" does not mean "closed" stop abusing the "Close" button to sweep issues under the rug. we know you guys dont want to do your jobs but thats no excuse for closing issues without fixing them

This is Caltrans property. City has contracted Caltrans to take action and is willing to coordinate efforts to clean-up the encampment. Caltrans has to initiate the closure of this encampment, as this is their property. Outreach is aware of this site and visits the encampment regularly to offer services and connect individuals to resources.
