I am over being "compassionate". There are so many ways for these people to get help. The thing is, they don't want help. They want to live off other peoples hard work, be parasites and not conform to societal norms. Run them out of here. They are bringing the quality of this town down. It will no longer be known as the safe family city it once was. It will be known as a safe haven for homeless bums, ex-cons and crazies.

The only thing they care about is our tax dollars. believe me, it's the truth. they couldn't care less about us or the community. they only care about an easy paycheck paid for with your own tax dollars for doing literally nothing except sitting on their butt all day and ignoring reports on SCF

the only way this will ever change is if we revolt and overthrow the alameda city government. im not even kidding either. thats literally the only thing that will save this island now. the swamp in our city government is so thick it'll snap a spoon if you try to stir it

Our worthless police chief is knowingly letting these encampments spread. he's the bl.eeding heart li.b.e.r.@l type. If they ever do cite them he will probably just pay their fines for them (well, technically you will, since his money comes from your tax dollars, but I digress...)

I'm not even kidding by the way. He literally will pay their fine. I got an email from him the other day saying he will pay the fine of the recycling thief they finally cited after letting them get away with looting all of our properties every single week for the past year and a half

This is Caltrans property. City has contracted Caltrans to take action and is willing to coordinate efforts to clean-up the encampment. Caltrans has to initiate the closure of this encampment, as this is their property. Outreach is aware of this site and visits the encampment regularly to offer services and connect individuals to resources.
