Until it is fixed signs are needed. People who don't travel this road every day have no idea, and it's terribly dangerous.

This issue keeps being acknowledged and periodically closed as having been resolved. It's never been resolved, the utility workers created a terrible mess that was only ever partially and inadequately repaired. The southern portion that is half washed out has never been repaired.

If the city can't repair the surface after all these years, then I'd vote to strip the pavement and let it be a dirt road that is graded each week. It's hard to understand why a short road with big businesses and so much truck traffic hasn't been fixed.

When I moved to Vermont a few months ago I was very impressed with the conditions of the roads in and around Burlington then when I got to Industrial Parkway I thought to myself "so that's where all the potholes are". Coming from MA I'm used to a lot of potholes but Industrial Parkway takes it to another level. Many of these holes are a hazard and should be filled sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately whether you enter Industrial Parkway from the south (Queen City Parkway) or from the north (Homes Avenue) by the train tracks, the road is extremely hazardous. With warmer weather coming, this will only add to the deterioration as frost leaves the soil. Add on additional bicycle and pedestrians (walkers/runners) utilizing the road will only increase the chances of someone getting seriously hurt as there are no shoulders due to the poor road condition. The vast amounts of traffic from cars, buses, trucks and tractor trailers, swerving as they try and avoid the numerous pothole, washouts and craters it is absolutely imperative that the City schedule an early Spring 2019 repair to Industrial Parkway.

Some of the potholes are beyond "inconvenient" they are so large you have to drive around them to avoid damaging your vehicle. That means going on to the wrong side of the road and risking hitting other cars. The other alternative is slamming on your brakes to avoid the enormous holes and hope the car behind you doesn't crash in to the back of you. This is a safety issue that needs to be addressed.

I live on Austin Drive so come and go out of Home Ave and Industrial Parkway on a daily basis on both foot and car. I find the road conditions terrible for walkers - not just the lack of sidewalks, but also the cars swerving towards me to avoid the potholes and frost heaves. I will echo the huge safety issues for walkers, dogs, and fellow drivers.
