Some of the larger stores have people that go around and pick up these shopping carts and I believe that they pay them $1.00 for each cart returned. If there are no markings on the one at your home, you can either be passive and let it stay OR be aggressive and call around to local 'Marts' to see if they will send someone out to pick it up... Another option is to put it in your garage and when you are having a very bad day... Take it outside and with a sledgehammer and a hacksaw... Create your own work of art.
