I want to leave this issue opened until it is resolved by fixing the sidewalk. Why should it take years to address this? At this point there are further problems in front of 352-4 Broadway, large puddles form in front of this property also as the sidewalk grade continues to sink.

What is the verdict on this issue? This sidewalk needs to be repaired (probably replaced) it continues to sink below grade and the neighboring property also has a low spot directly in front of stairs. During rain and snow huge puddles form and pedestrians are forced to walk into street to avoid. This is a busy street for pedestrian traffic and this needs to be addressed.

I just commented elsewhere on this issue, so I'll just copy it here: Regarding the work now being done on the Broadway side of the City Hall Annex, I do want to remind those in charge that I asked during the public meetings that all of the sidewalks on that stretch of Broadway be looked at (Inman St. to Lee St.) and that the City work with Eversource to restore the underground electric service before finishing the sidewalks. Has this been addressed? I hope that special attention is given to the portion of sidewalk in front of 356 Broadway where water ponds in the middle of the sidewalk during three seasons and becomes pure ice during winter.

As you can imagine, the City has more need for infrastructure improvements than available resources, but we've inspected this location and added it to our miscellaneous sidewalk repairs list. These locations are done on a rolling basis, with some prioritized over others, so the repair at this specific location may not occur for several months or even years.

Considering the fact that it's already been MANY years since the request was first made, I'd have to say that this is long past overdue. How exactly do you define "a rolling basis"?
