Description

Dangerous flooding at Montrose viaduct, which is now only allowed route for bikes and peds on Lakefront Trail to cross Montrose.

Water used to go down here because half the viaduct was not paved.

Some pedestrians and cyclists have been using the new bike spur to the east to cross but this puts them right where eastbound cars are picking up speed and coming down off the arc of the bridge over the viaduct. There is no crosswalk or warning to alert drivers of this new crossing point.
