Descrizione
The curb cut that allows handicapped access to the Harvard Divinity School is set lower than the street, and the nearest storm drains are about a block in either direction. As a result, the entire curb cut and eventually the sidewalk fill with water and then freeze into a sheet of ice. The water is sometimes up to 5 inches deep—I’ve waded through it and it goes well over the entire foot of my boots. It’s an access and safety issue. (The curb cut is also often not well-plowed.) This photo doesn’t show the worst of it, but next time the street it being cut open, which seems to be every month or two, this area really needs better drainage.
