This issue has not been addressed by the Traffic Engineers. This continues to be a dangerous situation on Ajo and Mission. The left turn lanes on both streets back up into the through lanes because the left turn signal comes on AFTER the solid green through lane light. The left turn signal should ALWAYS come on first and clear the left turn lane so the traffic does not back up into the through land preventing through lane traffic from moving. This happens every day in Tucson where this situation occurs. All traffic lights in Tucson should be changed so the left turn lane light comes on first to clear the left turn lane.
PLEASE FIX THIS, IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE THIS WAS REPORTED.
