RRC Assistant Director - Waseem assigned this issue to Construction Code Official

I just submitted a similar complaint. This needs to be addressed. Permit or no permit (who issued this?) the noise and vibration is excessive and disturbing the process of teaching/learning.

RRC has requested an update from the Head of the Construction Code official through email and left voicemail to respond to these concerns as he is the only one that can weigh in on this.

From Head Construction Code Official: "Permits were issued for the construction at the site, the procedure was to pre auger the pile but still has to be hit down there is no helical piles, the area around the site has seismic monitors installed and in checking there is no location where the vibrations have been exceeded, other than feeling the vibrations if they are experiencing or seeing actual damage to email me of the specific address so it can be followed up consolidate all complaints to reflect that. They started the construction today at 7-00 AM which is against the city ordinance; one of the residents stepped out and engaged in a loud altercation with the construction team, who were basically threatening him (I have part of it on video); I reported this incident to the police as well. I sincerely hope that the city will take a look at this nightmare that is affecting the entire neighborhood.

what was the construction activity you are alleging that started at 7am

They were using their chainsaws to saw the wooden beams apart since exactly 7-00 AM.

that is not a violation of the noise ordinance or construction ordinance 7am is the permissible time to start work
