It's posted "No Trespassing" & "private Parking". So, no camping, but what will stop them from entering the parking lot? The answer is nothing, no fence and no enforcement when reported.
Not unfounded, I reported this request less than a week ago and it was still there a couple days ago. Give it a few days, they will be back. This camper and Mini Cooper are here 75 percent of the time, they will leave for a few days and come back. Same pattern the past year or so.
Maybe while they’re gone we can throw down a box of nails and screws or broken glass? That might be a good deterrent. The rest of the lot looks pretty dumpy, doubt anybody would notice except the RV and campers.
I would honestly like to know more about who this camper is, they seem a bit different than the average homeless RV dweller. They drive a fairly late model RV and have a newer Mini Cooper. They come and go, they always park in the exact same spot.
Well they are different than the average rv dweller.First of all they are a nice elderly couple and if you notice when they are there they never leave a mess they dont have a lot of traffic. They are nice people who are minding their own business , trying to survive.
Now i cant believe that Artsem thinks that throwing down a box of nails is a solution. Maybe we should be taking a look at how you live? Now look at who the nuisance is.
Well heck, if it’s a nice old couple in a nice RV.and they’re not intruding on anyone, then what is the issue? Curiosity?
And I was just being sarcastic about throwing a box of nails down.
I’m just looking for some clarification and answers regarding this, but if they are indeed an elderly couple and they are respectful of our community and don’t make a mess I suppose we could look past them parking there. However not the ones who park here a make a mess.
That’s the million dollar question. I guess that brings us back to square one, this is private property and no one should be camping here to begin with.
Thank you for reporting! In order for us to better serve you, we need more information regarding this issue. We should not worry about one RV if the land owner doesn't care. It would be rare for more than one whom doesn't litter etc. anyways. If the unlikely situation that many no littering RV's come then have a two maximum per 1/4 acre lot on a 1st come 1st get it or?. Focus on blight etc. not homeless trespassing on an unused neglected lot.
Well, the issue is closed now anyway and the anonymous poster isn’t interested in re-posting details or re-opening the case. Even after all the curiosity expressed in the comments.
