Description
Burlington, VT is looking worse than a third world country. Crumbling infrastructure, crumbling and potholed roads everywhere in the city, graffiti on public and private properties and
recycling and other debris littering the streets and walkways! Does the city leadership understand these problems! How will they address these concerns for the taxpayers of the city?

I agree about the trash, recycling and graffiti. It's awful! I had a long email exchange over a couple of months a few years ago with Jane Knodel about the need for larger recycling bins. I got a lot of lip service and the problem persists.
I have reported many times on SeeClickFix about trash in Battery Park, but nothing changes. I suggested placing a trash can near Lilian's Bench so the offenders who can't bother to walk to the cannon have a trash can to use. Nothing. I walked by this area yesterday and saw that the hill is covered with trash. Not to mention that there is plenty of evidence of smoking and drinking in our public park.
The graffiti is terrible. Last I checked one of the new walls along the bike path near the skate park said @#$% Guzzle. This is why we can't have nice things.

DPW leadership is a complete failure.

With regards to the stone bench graffiti by the skate park, it was cleaned up in November when I reported it. It's possible it has been re-tagged, but I have not noticed that.

Each of the issues you mentioned can be reported as a separate, specific issue if you are interested in a specific repair.
We have reported issues for infrastructure, potholed roads, graffiti on public and private properties and recycling and other debris issues are listed by geographic location and assigned to a specific department or staff member.
Having a bucketful of complaints is not something we can easily distribute across departments and individual staff members. Please let us know the locations of your concerns and we will have them assigned to the departments responsible and you will get an answer.
Thank you.
