They need a light here. I almost get killed every time I go by. LIGHTS. no more lights in Westville on tiny roads that don't need lights. Its a four way intersection with no stop signs and it is crazy. Also- God forbid you put a COP over there so people don't drive like its complete anarchy. If the cops want to make money on tickets, this is your intersection.

Definitely a problem. The winthrop cars don't stop and let the swirvy edgewood street drivers (who do not have the right of way: no stop sign) through. It is a troubled intersection

May need a traffic signal or some other way to slow traffic from Winthrop ave. I thing edgewood has right of way, but the other drivers don't seem to get it. Also it is not straight so a very difficult intersection to manage.

On October 23, 2008, The New Haven Board of Aldermen unanimously passed an order creating a nine member Complete Streets Steering Committee to guide the development of the following elements for the purpose of addressing the status of city streets: policy document, design manual, public process, educational campaign and traffic enforcement.

A focal point is to include feedback and ideas for street improvements from members of the community. You will also find previously submitted project requests from other community members. If this issue still exists please submit a “Project Request Form”. As a resident, you are not required to design anything. Instead, use the "Complete Streets Manual" as a showcase of the different types of traffic calming measures that may be used.
