Can we please repaint the right turn lane on lower Fayetteville road and extend it. Removing the painted protected area for traffic leaving the Chevron. Basically exactly what you did on 34 for traffic getting on 85 north by the Chevron and Waffle House, it wasn’t a problem to remove it on that road so why can’t we do it here? I think it would really help with traffic flow around 5-6:30pm.

Thanks for your questions. We are looking into the matter of extending the turn lane. We are also putting together a bid package for refreshing some pavement markings around Newnan, including this area.
At this time, I do not have a time line, but expect something late Spring/ early summer.
