Description

The bike lane that begins by parkway place mall and goes west along drake to the Parkway ends under the parkway. It’s a nice idea to have a lane, but it ends and leaves cyclists in a bad position b/c they haven’t taken a space in the regular driving lane (and motorists don’t yield because just 100 ft ago the cyclist was in their own lane) and there is merging traffic from the south parkway service road turning onto drake in that same area as well. The lane should’ve continued either to Leeman ferry or possibly Brahm springs if budget allows with some signage indicating to motorists & cyclists that it is about to end and that bikes will merge left and cars need to yield.
