this problem has been brought up for years. the answer is that a light would cause traffic to be backed up to rt 1. When resurfacing was proposed, I requested a left turn lane be created by moving the white line to the left. this was ignored

There is a light at the intersection of Central & Walnut just a fraction of a mile from Great Woods - I wonder if they'd be open to synchronizing a quick light with the one on Central? I also saw a sign in Salem that said "Be Courteous To Cars Entering Traffic". A sign like that would be great to help people let us in!
